The past couple of weeks have been busy for our team — and not just at the construction site!

We’ve had the opportunity to participate in multiple senior focused events this past September focused on senior living, aging, caregiving, resources, and the needs of older adults and their families.

We thank the hosts for welcoming us to participate/attend these events this past September.

• The 36th Annual Chesapeake Senior Services Support Seminar by the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Hope Foundation
• The Next Generation of Living Senior Resource Panel
• Senior Advocate’s Active Aging Expo at Park View Church
• The Virginia Assisted Living Association – VALA 2026 Fall Conference

We were also proud to serve as a breakfast sponsor for the Chesapeake Task Force on Aging this past Friday, joining other professionals and organizations who are committed to supporting older adults and their families throughout our community.

For us, these events are about more than introducing a new senior living community. They’re an opportunity to listen, learn, share ideas, and build relationships with the people who are already doing important work in the senior services community.

As we prepare for the opening of The Arbors at Battlefield Assisted Living and Memory Care, we want to be involved in the community long before we welcome our first residents.

We’re looking forward to more conversations, more connections, and more opportunities to be part of the community we’ll soon serve.

We may be building a new community, but we’re also building connections.
